I really need to get into the Gavan series. Perhaps once I'm through more of the Heisei era Rider and Sentai series.

I really like the chrome. Just wondering, why is he placed with all those Super Sentai figures? is it just for scale or is there a theme going on as well?

Shaider is really big over here in the Philippines, and I sort of remember seeing a reference to Gavan somewhere too. Sharivan, however, is someone I only "met" during the Superhero Taisen Z film. He's the one I like best though, in terms of look, so I might might get the renewal, especially if it improves on this figure.

Yeah, I do not have many metallic or shiny figures for this reason. But its such a cool design and I love that they are giving older Toku series some love in figure form.

I never care for this metal hero. The figuart cheap plastic made this a bad figure to pose with. I wonder how much the renewal will improve this figuart? Will it have some other QC like this or no QC at all time will tell when he release.

I always wanted to get Figuarts Gavan, but never got around to it. Lucky, I guess? Looking forward to the new one!

It's a reference to the Gokaiger vs Gavan movie. It's a pretty good movie.
