While it does look amazing in the gallery upon closer inspection you can see that indeed it is a flawed release. Good to know that there will be a renewal figure, which I'm sure will be nothing short of brilliant.

Having said that I think I will skip that one as well, for as much as I like the design, metal heroes never had the same impact in me as Sentai/PR and kamen rider.

Wow, there's something about Gavan's design that's just timeless, it's certainly retro, but it'll never look old like Ichigo and Akaranger do...

That sucks about the design flaws and quality issues. I never really got into Space Sheriff Gavan. I think I first encountered him/them from one of the Taisen movies. Despite my love for Transformers, I don't much care for the Metal Hero Series in general.

I don't have much expeience with Gavan. having only seen him in the Gokaiger crossover. but there's just something about this figure that seems underwhelming to me. I think maybe. somehow. it's too shiny. it seems to lose some of the details due to how bright and shiny it is.
that may just be the pics though.

Probably my favorite design from all these galleries. Probably because it kinda reminds me of a Cylon, lol...
