That is the only thing I will say Strange sucked in. The rest of the movie was fantastic. It didn't take any risks, but it was still one phenomenal movie nonetheless and has opened up the multiverse for us.

It really says something about a movie when the best things about it are Dr.Strange's cape and the end credit sequence with Thor.

I'm starting to feel a bit burn out by the MCU. I hope after The Avengers 3, they should take a rest for a while.

Considering there's only 3 movies this year, you can take a break in that regard, and Iron Fist is Netflix exclusive so you don't need to keep schedule with that

I don't see why it would matter if we have 10 super hero movies a year when we have like 50 comedies, 50 dramas, and 200 action movies out there. They're pretty much their own genre now.

But those 50 comedies, 50 dramas and 200 action movies aren't all tied together in the same franchise

Seriously, only a couple are tied together and the thing about Marvel is that you don't need to watch every one of them to understand them. Outside of Iron Man 2 and maybe AoU, all of the movies are stand alone stories that you don't have to watch the others to enjoy. You can easily just watch the three Cap movies and be perfectly happy. |

And that makes a lot of them inferior because they don't have the world or charact building.

Also, that's the beauty of stand alone movies that aren't connected, you can just watch them, and if good, you'll feel satisfied and don't need to catch up on the previous movies to make any sense. Avengers was my second MCU movie and I had no fucking clue what was going on. Who are these people? Why should I care about them? Whem Civil War was out I watched Age of Ultron, all three Iron Man films and the first Captain America movie, so I didn't have those issues again

I actually think now is a perfect time to take a break from Marvel. This year we're going to have Guardians 2, a sequel to a movie that is currently unrelated to the other MCU events (At least, until Infinity War), Spider-Man Homecoming, which likely follows up on Civil War (Considering Stark is in it), but probably isn't too relevant, and Thor: Ragnarok, which I'm betting probably will be important, but it's coming out in Nov, giving you 9 months to just ignore Marvel.
In addition, Infinity War comes out May of next year. So while you'd likely have to see those 3 films (And Black Panther) to understand it, you do have a full year to just...Sit on them for the time being. Ever since Civil War, I've felt the films had since left the point where you could jump in and enjoy them. Avengers 1 was all about the action, so you could be fine not watching the prior films. But for Civil War to really have any sense of impact, you kinda needed the other 2 Cap films, AOU, IM3, Avengers, and Ant-Man to really get it. While stuff like Guardians was so far in the left field that they're really just solo films and you can get away with watching it and nothing else, they're kind of it...
