My Daizyujin arrived yesterday so I'll be building it over the next couple of days. Hoping it'll be better than GaoGaiGar, who I like but is fiddly as hell. The arms/hands constantly pop off, the Hell & Heaven hands are a nightmare and the Dividing Driver is mildly irritating to get on. The actual build and transformation are great, it just isn't fun to pose at all.

As seen in the latest toy scans, it seems we will have a fourth set with the summer form robot (kyurenoh with cerberus voyager instead of lion voyager) and a fifth set with phenix robot (gigantouoh for the name, ith phenix voyager, phenix station ad phenix base). From what I can see from last year release , and as it tease Phenix voyager for july (for DX toys), should we expect a july release with phenix, august release with summer form, and something new in october like last year ? (there will be a clear version between all these release, like the SP01 that will release in june). There is even thepossibility to see a sixth set in december as the planning seems so empty for the end of the year. Curiuous to see how it will turn out ! Neoxul |

Sadface on the Kyuranger preorder! Minipla Daizyujin arrived earlier today, and... I'm actually a little hesitant to continue assembling him. I've never felt the need to have modeling tools before, but the stronger plastic is leaving so much sprue material when I remove a piece, I'm starting to think I may need a specialized tool. (With previous kits, I just used a fingernail and patience.) Do the rest of you use tools when assembling kits? (Also, I got Kyuranger 2 in the mail. And - neat! - the flip side of the Shishi Kyutama has a different sticker than the first release.) Last edited by Tokumonkey; 04-10-2017 at 05:39 PM.. |

I don't use anything when assembling minipla (finger only). I have the gaogaigar super mini pla to assemble but I will start it this week-end only. I have several gunpla to do but I have bought some tools for it (sprue cutter, file, tweezers and hobby knife) that came from amazon. |

Even when building minipla, I always have some sort of knife on hand to help trim excess plastic off. Especially since I'm just snapping the pieces off the runner with my hands, so little bits of plastic tends to stick.
