According to a reliable source, they're changing Shoryuken's input to ↓↓Attack. Whether this is for every move, just a few, or even a new option for new players remains to be seen. And a leak got the '4 bars is maximum' right and said leak said Daredevil, Apollo Justice and Edgeworth are playable (Edgy being DLC too apparently)

I'm not sure how I feel about that. On one hand, it does help me keep a combo going by not dropping it because I shot a fireball in the middle, on the other, it is an iconic input command.
I guess I'm not gonna complain too much. It means the barrier of entry will be a little lower.

I think you misunderstood. New trailer for Marvel VS Capcom Infinite with Ultron Sigma, Sigma as a DLC character, new screenshots and the story trailer had X use the Nova Strike, and X was one of the first confirmed characters in the game.

Though Mahvel's done some things right. Captain Marvel looks great, especially in Binary mode and Ultron actually made me curious despite my only knowledge coming from the MCU movie which kinda sucked and how Ultron turned Tony Stark into a chick or something

Okay... Why the input change? Just seems weird.

I doubt that leak is accurate because A: Edgeworth and Apollo would just be Phoenix clones and B: Capcom doesn't give a sh!t about Apollo. ...Yeah I'm still salty he never got his sequel game. ...Unless theyre just skins for Phoenix in which case alright then.

Also, about 5 minutes of gameplay leaked. One of the most major changes is that Ant Man isn't in Hawkeye's super anymore.

Considering Rocket got his outfit changed and Australian accent removed, it's MCU based with Scott. Your friend is wrong for not liking Scott

And they're salty because now Hank and Janet won't get their own movie, instead being given to the younger Scott and the MC2 Hope
