Sort of. The new movie at least hints at it with Ash's companions having Sinnoh Pokemon. Remember when the Arceus movie featured Pichu and the Johto Starters too?

We had G1 remakes on the GBA, Gen 2 remakes on the DS and Gen 3 remakes on the 3DS. So maybe Gen 4 remakes on the next system after the 3DS.

May is usually when remakes and 3rd versions/sequels are announced. We could possibly hear as early as next month if we're getting another game this year.

Koko is beginning to spread out to other countries, we could end up getting it.

The only event the US has coming up right now is a pointless Lycanroc Midnight Form event at Gamestop in May. There's nothing special about it except that is in a Cherish Ball.

I find it amusing that people want G4 remakes so bad when G1 is more due for a remake looking at it chronologically. Alola even had all this implied Kanto stuff in it! I'm not really interested in either myself, but I'm hoping there will be some kind of G7 spinoff announcement soon.
