Those extra 16.5 cm of length make all the difference. A box big enough to accommodate it would likely break the size restriction on SAL, making the more expensive shipping options the only ones, with the added cost that such a large box would bring by itself.

Opted to avoid stressing about the Ohguma Kyutama like I did Pegasus and just bought one straight out. It's running a good bit higher than Pegasus did on the secondary market though. Still, it's worth it to avoid fighting to get one with a purchase.

The box for Ryu Voyager is very large and long. Here's the size of the box in wotafa's recent hauls.

If I were to buy Ryu Voyager and ship it with EMS it gives me a total of about 7100 yen. With that money, you could get another KyuRenOh pretty much.

Ohguma Kyutama on Mandarake for ¥2,000. Amusingly, Google Translate calls it a 'Giant Bear Cue Ball'.

From what I've read elsewhere HLJ is not participating in the campaign. I haven't seen any communication quoted though. As for this one being more, I've heard there were fewer of Ohguma produced than Pegasus but, again, I have seen no hard evidence to back up the claim.
