Keep in mind though at TRU the Megazords are now 39.99 USD and the zord builder sets are 17.99 each. Other retailers would probably have them cheaper if you were willing to wait a bit.

TRU is asking $40 for Megazords now!? Last I saw I think mine was asking $32-35, I hope this isn't across the board.

Apparently Hyper Gosei Great is made with the vehicles. They have rods underneath them that clip into the back of the Dragon and them become the pieces that....Datas would....but, why?

The sides of the vehicles snap off to reveal clips to clip them onto each other

I'm missing one more header that comes with the Blue cycle that isn't released yet

So how does the Megazord's sword function differently than the Japanese version's? Does it still store on its back at an angle?

It's not possible to attach the sword to the back of the megazord in a decent way, as the header joint is a different type of plug. The only way to attach it is to keep it the same way as in dragon mode, and it sticks out the back of the megazord, looking awkward. The plug on the back is a hexagon, with a hole inside for the long pegs that are on the end of the sword or the ones that pull out from the vehicles to attach one to the back of the megazord for hyper gosei great. The sword doesn't have plugs or clips to attach it sideways.

While I'll kind of miss Datas getting the Zord Builder treatment, I have to admit the way they made up for that is super clever.

I'm super pumped about getting this stuff, and the fact that the Gosei Great head is now a header itself is just icing on the giant robotic cake.

Also, holy shit, is that a Zord Builder port on the waist piece on the snake?!

Oh dear, that packaging is the second coming of Mystic Force. After Samurai I thought Bandai would pick a different dominant color as well...even Star Wars changes packaging every season to catch shoppers' eyes with something fresh and new and exciting.
