I mostly mean Build *roughly* lines up with what Ghost did. It wasn't every episode, but Ghost had a lot more of the bike than usual (compare it to Fourze, for example) early on before starting to taper off after the first quarter.

Kamen Rider is primarily an action show, and as such, it'd be nice to see the thing in the title worked into the action some more. This comparison is a bit extreme, but imagine if they made a Super Sentai show with only one dude. Saying "the story doesn't suffer from the lack of a team" would sound pretty silly, you know?

I do have to wonder why Riders don't use their bikes more often. I heard it's because it's expensive for them to close off city blocks in order to film them, but we got car action in almost every single episode of Drive.

If memory serves, its around areas that seem "abandoned" in the first place, plus lots of clever editing and stationary shots.

Not too big on the whole revelation that Ryuga has this super secret backstory. I don't think something like that was necessary for his character but we'll see how it plays. Also kinda wish Cross-Z Charge had a better send off though I doubt this is the last time we'll be seeing the form considering the original Cross-Z form returned in this episode. Aside from those nitpicks, still a good episode, good action, good humour, good interactions, and Magma Knuckle is pretty hot.

I've read from some people that Japan currently has some laws preventing the use of customized vehicles in public roads, which does heavily limit where they shoot scenes involving the bikes. Hopely some of bike actions in future will be in forest, motocross track, or in mountain and that's will be cooler

Not really. That whole scene could've been a simple review of facts without playing with Misora's toys. Or at least do it so that it doesn't look like they're not taking this seriously.

To quote Bob Wallace from "White Christmas", it's not good but it's a reason. At least it's not solely because Toei's cheap. I wish they'd used this trick in other shows, and more in Build.

Yeah, the fact the hero rides a Motorcycle was one of the reasons I started watching and enjoying the show. Kamen Rider without motorcycle action seems weird to me. Was good to see Build back on the bike again.


This episode was great, I chuckled at...



...and then when she collapsed into his lap and he pulls out his wallet going, "ok how much is this going to cost me." I laughed out loud.

The action was pretty decent as was the surprise twist.

I really liked how the three riders in the Tower at the end of the episode, right as the fight started Grease did a big, flying Superman punch where he cleared the room in one jump. Looked very cool. A bunch of the camera work in that fight looked really nice.

It's hard to say the same thing every week but this show is so good and really keeps me on the edge of my seat until next week wondering what's going to happen next.

I may be the only person I guess who really liked Cross-Z Charge, I'm sort of bummed to see that costume over with. I really liked the translucent blue helmet.

Cross-Z Charge and Grease having translucent helmets just looked so cool and unique and new.
