Yeah Deadpool can work in the MCU, he's also the only character that can acknowledge the FOX buy out and stuff. Really all you need to do is have him meet up with the Avengers in a 4 post credits scene walking in and going "OH MY GOD DID DISNEY FINALLY BUY FOX?!?!"

Here's a little bit of trivia for y'all.
Josh Brolin, the actor that plays Cable and Thanos, is the third actor to play two Marvel characters. The other two being Chris Evans (Human Torch and Captain America) and Ryan Reynolds (Hannibal Cain and Deadpool).

Does Kenneth Choi count? The man played Jim Morita in First Avenger and his grandkid Principal Morita in Spider-Man Homecoming.
There is also Benedict Cumberbatch who played Dr. Strange and Dormammu.
