Several Ultraman Shows to Leave Crunchyroll

Sad news everyone, due to licencing issues it seems like several Ultraman shows will soon be leaving Crunchyroll.

Those four series are as follows:

Ultraman Leo
Ultraman 80
Ultraman Max
Ultraman Mebius

Ultraman X will still be available.

I think it is more of a mere license expiration rather than issues amongst Tsuburaya and Crunchyroll from the way I see it. Just businesses doin business things.

Well that's sad news, I quite liked 80 and was planning on checking out Mebius. I suppose that's licensing for you though.

Damn, I never got around to watching Mebius. I may want to get back to Gaia now before it gets yanked, too.

AAAAAH! I was gonna watch those... eventually... at some point... I hope they get added back at a later point in time.

They'll probably all end up on Toku's service eventually. There's already a bunch of Ultraman (and Mirrorman and Gridman) there.

Probably best to watch it while you can. Just a personal thought but based on the fact that they are not extending the license, I think we can safely assume that they are done with it. Of course, nothing is a guaranteed 100% with these things and maybe it will come back on Crunchyroll, but at the same time we don't know if that will 100% happen. So probably best to plow through it when possible.

I've never followed up on Ultraman in the capacity I probably need to, but this might be worth expediting!

We technically have a year, or so, so some time remains.

Really wish SHOUT! would regain the license to release Ultraman to disk again! They did for Ultra-Q and Ultra Seven, and they have Ultraman Leo for streaming!
