Just a pair of teasers from the Figuarts blog, mixed in with the Machine Kivaa & Chair set, but a teaser none the less!

Honestly expected to see more style or Flame Dragon first.

Either way, cool. As I recall, Beast's original figuart was hardly hindered by the same faults as those of Wizard's; so this wasn't as necessary, but it's still nice?

... are they ever gonna do Agito secondaries

No. It looks pretty good next to the original Wizard release, and atrocious next to the Shinkocchou Seihou. It's a similar proportion disaster. The flaw they didn't share was Wizard's swappable robe. Beast's swappable mantles were better-implemented.

I think it may be the pose they chose that makes this Beast figure look like not-such-an-upgrade; they've got him hunching forward, so it looks like short-torso again. The foot-to-lower-leg ratio seems better though. Well, and he's size appropriate to fit in Kiva's chair.

I actually think Beast looks like one of the worst of the original Wizard figures.

Aw hell yeah! Beast was my favorite thing about Wizard and I was hoping we'd be getting an update with Wizard himself being released as a Shinkoccou Seihou figure.

By the way, the blog entry specifies that we'll see Beast at the Web-Shop in June, which to me says pre-orders are going up soon-ish and that he’ll be a Web-Exclusive release.

Considering the figure is more than likely an exclusive they might go all-in and include all the mantles right away. Which I’d be down for.
