So for my College Composition 2 project, we are focusing on representation in the media. Since Power Rangers is over 26 years old now, it seems like a good choice. However, I'm sure what perspective to attack from.

Since the show has a history with having a diverse cast (with Beast Morphers probably being the most in my opinion), it would seem easy to find articles. However, my problem right now is to narrow it down to one facet that I can use for the next 15 or so weeks. Once I have a baseline, I'm sure my professor would be fine with me getting a broader article or 2 to use in the actual papers. And if i'm proud of it, perhaps my professor may just let me actually send it to Hasbro (but I wouldn't count on it, even if I were that proud of it). So, the goal of this thread is a launchpad that once I know the direction I'm going can be locked (which should be in about 2 weeks time). |
