His father is a Pokemon which is why he is an idiot.

Seriously though he isn't interested in anything but Pokemon and what ever the new gimmick is. I am seriously starting to suspect he will only end up with a girl if the girl is a Pokemon.

I’m still convinced he’s a tomboy and they’re going to have a joke about Ash being too dumb to realize until a beach/pool/hot spring episode.

Wouldn't be surprising if they did that.

I am just going to do the same I did with Sun and Moon, unless it pops up on Netflix then I am just going to skip it. So if Ash is back then that means Team Rocket is as well . . . Ugh!!!

Really happy with the character design and art style this time around. Feels like it's taking the best parts of SM's art style with the best parts of the standard to create something that ultimately has a ton of energy going for it.
