Well if this comic is set on Earth-616, that's means it more then likely Ultraman joins the Avengers in 2020.

On some level, I'm not surprised that BOOM! didn't get it (given their relationship with Power Rangers), while at the same time, I am surprised that Marvel got it given their relationship in the past with Toei, especially since the Toei Spider-Man is now seeing something of a renaissance which will culminate with the sequel to the Spiderverse Movie!

Personally, I don't see an issue with Marvel getting the license!

Honestly I always thought that Ultraman would partner up with DC ever since Mega Monster Battle and Ultraman Zero movies are distributed by WB Japan.

I know that Marvel comics turned people off these past few years but CB Cebulski at the helm and the company got decent, I really enjoyed their current books.

Apprently it's a 5-issue limited series? I guess they're testing the grounds to see if it'll sell well.

None of versions of the official statement that I have read said five issues! Where did you see that?

If this takes off and other projects are greenlit, I hope Alex Ross gets to do one such as a Land Of Light origin graphic novel. That story combined with his art? Totally worth it.
