According to the Visual History book Saban took Zyuranger because by the time the deal with Toei went through, Zyuranger was the latest Sentai. Otherwise they would've went with Jetman or whatever else was the latest had the deal gotten through earlier.

Dinos will never get skipped regardless of. Who has Power Rangers.

Fox , Jetix and Nick have all had Dinos when it comes up. True they could have held off for 2023 for this but I'm OK with it.

I was one of the ones who said 5 years was too soon.

For some reason whoever adapts Dinos those usually turn out good. So we'll see how Hasbro does. Saban did good with Dino Charge in 2015 / 2016. I watched all 40 together. I actually liked Dino Charge.

I almost feel bad for Hasbro. They have the shittiest Sentai designs to use. It's hard to reinvigorate and re-establish a brand when the source material is as bad as recent years have been.

Ryusoulger's aesthetics are pretty good imo, and the Zords are extremely pleasing to look at. Kyuranger too, and even Kiramager.

But yeah if they ended up adapting LuPat someday then oof. LuPat's mechas are just plain terrible, never before have I wished Sentai would just ditched the mecha. And this is coming from a guy who doesn't like Zyuohger's aesthetics.

I was about ready to jump to the defence of most recent Sentai teams in recent years... and then I saw it was about the mechs rather than the rangers themselves.

And. Yeah. Ouch. I like me some ToqOh for how simplistic it is but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I believe that Kyuranger should be a more serialized series with original elements and placed on Netflix instead of Nick! I have no qualms about two different Ranger Teams in a given year.

Mardakko is a cause for concern, but they might be able to make her Mecha Form work.

Akyanba also gives me some concern.

LuPat can be made to work in Power Rangers, but it would have to be significantly reduced in terms of Mecha and a balance of how many vehicles a team has would also have to be imposed.
