I a fan of RPM and while I am aware that Bandai America dropped the ball on PR Megazords starting with Overdrive I was wondering how the US RPM Megazords compare to the DX Japanese ones, I say that cause I am considering getting ahold of the US ones and If should try and get the Japanese ones instead.

I never bought them, but as far as I can tell from MMPR toys, they re a lot smaller and lack the “soul set” gimmick of the Go-Onger counterparts. They were also the genesis of the ZordBuilder line, which grew in earnest in MMPR 2010’s toyline.

For the RPM megazord, from what I hear there was two, possibly three releases. I think most stores got a smaller sized megazord with minor changes to the original mold. If you wanted something identical to the BOJ DX version it was sold exclusively at Disney stores and theme parks, and even then there were no electronics.

So my best option is probably the Bandai Japan release I take it?
