I've gotten back into art and have been practicing, so I thought it was high time to unearth and redesign the bearer of my current online namesake, TokuToaster.
The old thread is here and is filled with the old designs and info. A lot of it is basically the same but I've refined a lot of it and I'm intending to expound upon it in this thread over time along with new drawings.

Basic gist is this Rider is a happy-go-lucky waiter who loves nothing more than to see a smile on a customer's face. He'll put himself in harms way if it means a better day for someone else. Naturally, it would make him a great fit for this experimental new combat system designed to keep the emerging threat of an army of food-based organisms known as Pyranoids at bay.

The suit is powered entirely by the metaphorical fire of one's soul, and also real fire. Lots and lots of fire. The belt is controlled via a temperature dial on the side, and the higher the heat, the higher the power output. The suit is lined with vents to let off excess heat, and too much heat can overpower the user and cause them damage. He has a toaster on his head which can be used to channel all of the suit's heat into a single final heat beam that is triggered by pulling down the leaver on the forehead. This attack is devastating but leaves the suit powerless until it can reheat itself.

His arsenal includes an array of weaponized cooking utensils which are stored in a mobile grill which can transform into his trusty Rider Machine, The Machine Flame-Broiler. Yes, it's a moped.

Awesome design, I love that he even has a little name tag! Sounds like a cool story idea too.
