Gridman X Diaclone Crossover

Here's something fun: Takara will release a crossover toy, featuring the anime Gridman wearing armor inspired by the classic Diaclone mecha, Diabattles.

Diaclone is Takara's original transforming vehicle toyline which was adapted into the well-known Transformers.

We should get more info on "Battlesgridman", as this combination is called, soon-ish.

That's promising. I can see how that might look cool. It already fits into the Gridman aesthetic.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Only problem IMO is that Takara's reboot Diaclone toys are hilariously expensive.

Yeah that is 100% because they are not aimed at kids. They are squarely made for adults with more nostalgia than disposable income!

- Dumb question, but what is the official Diaclone website?

- Is there a pre-order up for this yet?

- What's the probability that this was inspired by the multitude of Transformers references in the Gridman anime, given how Diaclone is forever tied to Transformers for obvious reasons?
