First episode's out if anyone would like to watch. Not that big of a fan of the guns or the commander suits, but seems like it's going to have dark tones in the story? |

Just watched episodes 1 and 2. It's not bad at all! Pretty strong acting for such a random show. Always good to have more short-form Tokusatsu.

I actually found out about this series a few weeks ago due to of Bandai officially announcing the 1:1 models of the guns and the Commander figures first. Overall eps 1-2 are pretty good, nice tense atmosphere and setting up the typical "Fight or Die" style game. It definitely reeks of Bandai's usual toy shilling with stuff like the school nurse building 30 Minute Missions kits in his office, or the line of how "The more effort and care you put into your model increases it's quality.", but aside from that the story's still pretty compelling. |

A bumbling protagonist that finds themselves in a situation where you have to fight other individuals who found themselves in the same situation as you to survive? Wait a minute.... https://youtu.be/khQOTLcOk7I |

I actually dig the swerve when it came to Koharu's decision to take the bullet this ep. In a lot of typical fight or die shows/games/book/etc, this would normally be the breaking point where the pacifist character finally shoots someone and spends the rest of the time severely regretting it. But Kokaru stuck to her morals, and despite dying she doesn't regret a thing. The end of episode stinger with her trying to convince the other girls in the game to stop killing each other will obviously fail. But it seems like the show is now hinting that it's going in the direction of everyone turning against the commanders and whatever is organizing the game. |

The 2nd episode was removed for some reason. And now it's back weird.

this series is interesting ngl, just curious about the commander lady, who, no, what are they? also, there will be the fifth commander lady, right? the Alice recolor one. i think it's either Alice's second personality, or an indeed new commander lady.
