So FedEx lost my package- or they say it's delivered but I never received it. It could have been stolen from my apartment lobby

It contained both the Zenkaiger Minipla sets 01 and 02. Big bummer but here is where my mind is at now.

If I just call it a loss I am out the cash and the Minipla kits.

Or

I order them again and the grand total for the lost set and the new set is about 20% higher than if I paid for them through a place like Tokullectibles. This is only possible because each set is extremely cheap in Japan right now, about $15 for each. So I still end up overpaying but at least I still get the models?

Is that logical or should I just cut my losses?
