Oh they count! They'll likely appear as brainwashed villains and later join in the team for their final battle.

They'll henshin solo though.

Brainwashed as they'll be, Izu & Sophia would hold grudges towards Yaiba & Reika.

Valkyrie vs 02: Izu hasn't forgotten how Yaiba was a traitor serving ZAIA and tried to kill her under Amatsu's orders. And Yaiba has to fight her to make up for what she did.

Sabela vs Calibur: Sophia hasn't forgotten how Reika kidnapped her under Logos' orders and drove her swordsmen to kill Touma. OH! And Reika slapped Sophia too, as Reika fights Sophia to make up for what she did too.
