I know the original post on this said that it'd be maid available internationally but the JP links require a vpn to even view so I just assumed no on that part. Was there any info on when pre-orders would open for international?

Bandai Namco USA, formerly Bluefin Brands, is going to be releasing the driver in the US market through their retail partners. Tokullectibles, GameStop, Megaroad, not sure about Anime King though. Anyway, Tokullectibles already has a link up to buy the Japan release, the US release should be up after final pricing and release date has been established.

They've announced that they're giving a 1.5 to the Lost Driver... but ALSO that they're finally making the Eternal Edge!

The Eternal Edge is so cool! It makes for a great CSM item. A bunch of 1:1 scale 3rd party prop versions of it already exist for around $50 - $80 so I wonder where this one will come in.

Cool, though hopefully this time the Joker T2 Memory isn't some weird combo bonus. I'll likely not pick it up though, seeing as it's bound to be really expensive and if I'm getting one it'll likely be the W Driver.
Kind of odd that they're teasing this before following up on the announcement of the 1.5 AccelDriver and Dopant memories, though they're likely holding those back until Accel's full debut in Fuuto PI for the driver and the possibly the end of the season for the Memories.

That's more or less what I figured. They also noted that they're announcing this today because today is the airing date of W's first episode! Happy anniversary
