I assume its a nod (or possible confirmation) of the rumored Insect motif for the show. Since bugs can have all those features (depending on the species).

most probably yeah... though i would prefer an insect theme to go with hi-tech stuff akin to B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto instead of a royal, king-like theme

It still confuses me that insects are not reflected in the title in any way. That is, they clearly would not hurt to add a second theme to it.
PS: Maybe the theme is not insects, but animal kings? Then two rangers will be a king baboon spider, royal goliath and a monarch butterfly, and the rest, for example, a king cobra and a shoebill.
