If Gotchard was a mix of tarot cards & lawyers, The Hanged Man can represent the new rider who's either a fugitive or a serial killer on the lose framing the innocent fugitive.
The Devil could be used as a berserker form or the dark rider's final form. |

A rider's story of change and wanting to do something whos oppose to the ideology of our main rider. Death can work so you are wrong on the idea it cant be used. Hell Kaito Kumon is a perfect char from kamen rider who was the final villain and his story has every aspect of death arcana within it. Last edited by LevisNox; 05-28-2023 at 04:37 PM.. |

…clearly your knowledge of the Arcana begins and ends at Persona if you’re going to say things like that, so I’m just going to block and move on now, I think. Joker/Jester isn’t a real alternate Arcana - Atlus just made it up, and they also mistranslated Lust as Hunger…which no real deck does.

DEATH IS A CARD THAT REPRESENTS *DRUMROLlLlLlLlLlL* TRANSFORMATION.... HENSHIN? Henshin, anybody? Where have i heard henshin before... wait what is it that henshin means again... hmm someone should google that, its a real stumper. Don't be a dick if you don't wanna get in a dick fight. EDIT: Okay i cant stop myself, heres another obvious one from another direction: Kamen rider Decade was sent to kill all riders. Like, duh? Like, very much duh? Like... I am become DEATH, duh? It hurts to think that you though you were in the clear to turn your nose up and snoot that someone doesn't know anything about something when you clearly dont know anything about anything. Lets pretend this didn't happen, for your sake. EDIT: Okay lowkey egg on my face, should've read back further, because noone else in here knows what they are talking about either, you actually might know more but you're just hinged on a very particular reading of how the arcana would translate into a rider series, when the arcana are inherently meant to be interpreted by the person using them. The fool idea isn't a bad one, but Death as one of the main riders feels absolutely dope to me, and rich in storytelling opportunities. I see the card as possibly being able to represent a kind of antihero in the context of a transforming hero show, but i do agree it'd be a poor villain. I honestly don't really see it as a power-up, but i suppose if we were to toss it in at the death/rebirth stage of the hero's journey it does make a kind of sense. This is probably gonna come across a bit harsh, but I feel like you're kind of missing the whole point of Kamen Rider. Kuuga episode 35. Build episode 21. Zero-One episode episode 43. The moments of Riders losing control isn't a cool or badass thing. It's a tragedy

A bad habit is when you smack your lips too loud, or you forget to put away a dish or two. Constantly talking about violence and how much you want to see a character lose it is not a bad habit. Unless the real bad habit is just you ignoring everyone who brings up how concerning and uncomfortable they are with this, in which case, yes, that is a bad habit.
And I hardly believe that "sorry" when the literal next comment you make in this thread is this: Quote:
