I appreciate how, even with Spider Kumonos having his "new sixth ranger buff", the others haven't become weak. Hymeno shows once more that she isn't merely the token girl, as she's the one who actually manages to give Jeremy his first loss and retrieves the Ohger Caliburs!
I thought Jeremy had learned his lesson in communication when the others called him out in Episode 12, but I guess his habit goes beyond simply being annoying, to actually causing Hymeno suffering here, something that he had hypocritically accused Yanma of doing to him. Seems like that revelation was finally enough to make him dial it back, at least concerning tragic events. I'm glad that he and Hymeno were able to resolve their conflict. There's also the surprising justification for why all the monarchs are so young, that the Fury of the Gods left them as the surviving heirs. Of course, there was already the meta reason that they needed to be young to appeal to the target demographic, but I'm impressed that there's actually an in-universe reason. The action highlight for me has to be the awesome mecha fight in Ishabana, with Taranchino using his webs and the three Greater Shugods to fight Amejin on the lake, while my favorite insert, World Is Mine, plays in the background! I think it's cool to see creative utility of the individual zords like that. Overall, this is probably my favorite episode so far! Now there's the mystery of who was commanding Guardian Semi during Jeremy's hibernation?
