The North American Blu-ray release for Shin Ultraman from Cleopatra Entertainment was underwhelming to put it nicely. The first edition had problems such as issues with its subtitles and audio. To help alleviate this they made a second edition and program for customers to replace their versions.

According to a user on the blu-ray.com forums, CE will be releasing a new third edition.

Unfortunately, if you have already replaced your first edition with a second they will not replace your disc again.

It?s crazy. I swear these battles were all fought and decided decades ago when some anime companies put ?dubtitles? on dvds. We learned nothing from those conflicts, I guess.

Hey, at least the youtube version is great.

Also the other fault with the v2 release was that it did not translate the onscreen text for the dub, right?

Looks like it's a competent release and region free so that's exciting. Don't really care about the opinions of two randos though. They also have an "exclusive video introduction? Don't care about that either.
