Despite being just a "General" villain, Grodie is literally the most important villain in most of the characters' lives.
He started the Fury of the Gods, he killed Himeno's parents, he was the catalyst that led to Kaguragi becoming lord of Toufu, and he's the reason that Rita's predecessor disappeared.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow was involved with Gira's kidnapping as a child.

I've enjoyed King-Ohger all along, but this episode in particular was remarkable. Also, is it me, or was that one of the first episodes without a mecha fight?

Kaguragi never fully gelled with me until this episode.
