Geki, and to a lesser extent, Magi suffer from the same blandness problem. They're suits are basically one solid color with very little to break it up.

They were invoking Bruce Lee's signature suit. Very vibrant, flowing, and when in motion, just a blur of color.

I really like how their Super/Master modes (which i really like the american name better cause it sounds less cliche) turned out.They're much different then other super modes cause the color is reversed,white being more prominent then their standard separate colors(red,blue,yellow).They also are extremely streamlined,like you said.I just like any enhancements modes in general,but these are the best to me.

I don't like most battleizers,especially the clunky,run-through-a-junkyard-with-magnets-in-your-suit types.For example..



I will give credit where credit is due,the Red Dragon fire Ranger from Mystic Force/Magiranger stayed streamlined throughout.

Colored visors would fall under "idiosyncrasies". They were used before, but by the time Timeranger rolled out, black visors were the norm.

Magi had black and yellow to break things up and the girls got white. It's not bland, it's uniform.

And just like that you pressed my arguement button No worries, it's on a hair-trigger. The Battilizer is one of the best ideas Saban ever had! Now there were two distasters. One was In Space. I didn't like the abs, and all it was basically was a backpack. But it was the first, what can you do. And Time Fire/Quantam. He had fricken in-line skates. What the Fudge.
Now your example for the worst is actually my example for one of the best. It's why Murphey's transformation into SPD Red's Battilizer worked so well for me. I love when the Battilizer is part of something else and transformers into the armor. Instead of just dropping from thin air. And that is my favorite. I loved it was his motorcycle. Another favorite was Lost Galaxy. Mystic Force's.. I didn't care for. It was basically just a Super Mode. But Dino Thunder I loved. I love me some shoulder cannons like I love peanut butter filled donuts. And I love me some PB filled donuts.

I agree.I never called the functionality into question,just the look.You have to admit that lightspeed rescue just slapped half the motorcycle onto his back.As for the concept of the Battleizer,yeah I like it.The Spd one is one of my favs.And I agree with you that the Battliziers that transform from something,like SPD,are good.It's just the look of some of them that get to me.
Oh and as for Dino Thunder,I actually liked the look of it,and the cannons.I didnt like that he was basically Super Sentai Stretch Armstrong and had basically a yoyo finisher.(Nothing against Stretch Armstong or Sentai,just the combo)Which raises my question,just how exactly did he do those kicks and punches without breaking his legs or arms?lol
