I was watching the first half of the show on a twitch channel stream and had just gone away for a minute or two, when I came back and sat down the trailer for this was just starting.

Their TMNT game had a couple unlocks, and the Tengu Warriors appear in this game, so I wouldn't be surprised if both the green and white rangers are already in it.
Since it's a retelling of the original series with new plot beats, I'd bet that completing whatever their revised Green With Evil story chapter will net you Tommy.

As for DLC, bring in rangers from either Once A Ranger or Dimensions in Danger.

They lean so hard on G1 that they take figures and characters from other TF series and G1-ify them.

This is all to say that being surprised that hasbro is leaning into nostalgia isn?t necessary. It?s basically their calling card.

It’s a shame too because in both power rangers and transformers, the amount of non-g1 material they can use is astronomical. As of late, people in hasbro have been pushing for more “nostalgia of other generations” and it’s been kind of a breath of fresh air. But it’s still just “g1ified” versions. It’s would be like release a power ranger lightspeed rescue figure but in the style of mmpr.

The idea of "Mighty Morphin-ified" Rangers from other seasons reminds me of an episode of Pawn Stars when someone came in with a Red Ranger statue, but it was Ninja Storm Red's helmet on a MMPR body!
