Took a trip to Japan last month and picked up a few cool things:
These both released around the time I went, so I saw them in tons of stores. A random shop in Akihabara had the Ex-Aid for about 2000 yen cheaper than everywhere else, which convinced me to bite the bullet. I also grabbed Luffy because...well, Luffy's awesome. Luffy is super impressive and a lot of fun. Ex-Aid is a re-release of the original with additional accessories, and while it does show its age a bit (especially compared to Luffy) it's still an awesome figure. And here's Ex-Aid with Geats that I bought at the Tamashii Nations pop up in LA last year I have the SH Figuarts Brave lvl 100 and LVUR Snipe with LVL 50 attachment in my old room at my mom's house, so one of these days I'll have to go back and get them so I can take a pic of the Ex-Aid squad together (and maybe I'll add Lazer and Dangerous Zombie too?) I also picked up some cool stuff from the Capcom Store in Shibuya. First is a spray bottle designed after the First Aid Spray in Resident Evil. I always keep hand sanitizer on me, so this was perfect. Also from the Capcom store was this Bass.exe acrylic standee. The Megaman Battle Network games were huge for me back in the day and Bass was my favorite character (typical, I always go for the edgy ones) so I had to get it. And finally, this magazine with Nashiko Momotsuki, who plays Yodonna in Kiramager, released right around the time I arrived. She had been promoting it on Instagram, so I bought it. I also bought some clothes and camera bags and stuff while in Japan, but that's not very exciting so I won't show it lol. Anyways, a few days after I got back home, these arrived for me in the mail. So all in all, a good haul I'd say. I'm also noticing that every time I go to Japan I come back with at least one Figuarts, so I guess it's tradition now

Got some neat stuff yester/todaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay and I will show it off now.
First up, yesterday I received a box from board member Deepsea. Now thing is, a while back I had them middle man a Legacy Evolution TM2 Megatron that they found at Ross because mine are dryer than an Episcopalian Church on Sunday during Prohibition in the Sahara. They asked me if I wanted some of their other WFC/Legacy Beast Wars stuff that they didn't want anymore. I said sure, what's 2-3 more mechanimals for the collection? Instead I found myself looking at this. Inside was: - Kingdom Optimus Primal - Kingdom Rhinox - Kingdom Cheetor - Kingdom Tigatron - Kingdom Airrazor - Kingdom Rattrap - Kingdom Buzzsaw - Kingdom Dinobot - Kingdom Grimlock - Kingdom Megatron - Kingdom Nightpanther - Kingdom Vertebreak - Buzzworthy Bumblebee Terrorsaur - Legacy Evolution Tigerhawk - Legacy Evolution Inferno - Legacy Evolution Transmetal 2 Megatron - Legacy Evolution Nemesis Leo Prime - RotB Battle Master Optimus Primal - RotB Battle Master Rhinox - RotB Battle Master Cheetor I should probably point out this not only doubles the number of robots in disguise I own, this is more robits than I have bought since 2004. Jesu Christo, Deep is awesome. Now, as for today, something I was fully expecting in part because I not only bought, but commissioned it. Now you're probably thinking, "Three of the same figures of the same character from some 80s cartoon nobody cares about? Are you crazy, woman?" And you'd have a point, but also, that's not quite the case. In reality it's three and a half. The true content was not Shin, but... this. A custom Nise Suiko/Red Torrent. And I am, in a word... jubilant to finally have one, 25 years after "Torrent's Evil Twin" irreparably altered my brain chemistry and made my adulation of Evil Red Clones Of The Blue Guy a favorite archetype.

I didn't get any new releases this month, just a couple knickknacks from various places
From Suruga-ya: These small figurines from the Gavv chocolate line are fun desktop toys. The keychain is based on one of my favorite Japanese snacks Bourbon Alfort chocolate biscuits And from Mandarake: I'm glad Manda was selling the aux chips form with all three boxes bundled together. I also didn't have a Woz figure, but it was very cheap and helped spread the shipping cost around. IWAE !

Here's my October Haul! I just kinda forgot to post it like a week ago lol.
Tonsen Arttoys Future Trunks: I recommend giving this guy a hot water bath before playing with him, but other than that? An absolutely fantastic figure that's way better than the official SHF in practically every regard. SHF Kaioken Goku and Event Golden Frieza: Prices on these guys dropped to something reasonable, so I nabbed them. These are definitely my preferred paint jobs for these two figures. Street Fighter II The Animated Movie: I rewatched this movie recently and was reminded of just how good it was, so went ahead on got the blu-ray. Manipple Studio Amazing Spider-Man Accessory Pack: I mainly got this for the head sculpt, as Manipple always does great with those. The other stuff like the fists are just nice bonuses. Can't wait for their Tobey head to release. SHF Overdrive Red: I believe this is the last Sentai SHF I needed for my collection of favorite Rangers? Unless I one day start watching modern Sentai and rather like any of the Reds, I guess. SHF Earth Garon Mod Parts: Gonna have my boy in Mod 4 forever. Valaverse Praetorian: I rather like how this robot looks like something out of the Metal Gear franchise. Would not mind troop building alternate color variants of it. Sonic x Shadow Generations: Given that the original Sonic Generations is my favorite Sonic game of all time, I ended up having some mixed feelings regarding this version of the game. But I can atleast say that all of the Shadow stuff is done pretty well. Wal-Mart Exclusive 1st Version Spawn: Color my surprised that my local Wal-Mart actually had these in stock. I dunno what it is, but I think this particular costume actually looks alot better in blue than it does red. Bring Arts Kaine: The figure itself isn't anything super great, but I am happy to finally have all of the NieR figures that Square has made.
