Can't remember if this question has been answered before, so I'm gonna ask it again: What the hell is with that giant high heel Ako stands next to in the Jetman Ending Theme!? It doesn't appear in an actual episode per my memory.

Say what you will about the Heritage Auction controversy, it did reveal something interesting to me.
Given the number of pieces and artifacts they are pushing, they decided to be somewhat detailed by including a movie/episode screenshot or an official photo from years past with each one in addition to the pictures of the items they likely took themselves. One of the Wild Force Red Ranger suits had the following image attached to it, and the logo is curious to say the least. It's definitely a GaoRanger promotional photo to be sure. Is there an online resource that exists which uses that specific logo? |

I have never seen that logo before, but it feels like something one would come across in a toku fansite or community during the early 2000s.

Was the Gekiranger movie actually filmed in Hong Kong? Or do they do anything to make it look like Hong Kong? I can't imagine they actually went to HK but deep down I hope they did, so I'm trying to set my expectations a bit

There's no chance they went to Hong Kong for Gekiranger of all series.

I heard some people say the Ohranger or Power Ranger Zeo helmet visors symbols are based on symbols on the zener cards. Is it official or just people's assumption?

A book called 25 Super Sentai Series Complete Material Book that was published in 2001 stated briefly that the helmet design has a Zenar card motif. Takeyuki Suzuki, who was one of the producers, however, said in another publication that it has more to do with just representing numbers 5 through 1, and there are no correlations. That said, I personally am convinced that maybe the design department took inspiration from them despite the main motif being ancient civilizations and decided to run with it.

When I was still a child, I was quite confused about connections between Ohranger's geometric designs with their ancient civilization motifs. But, at that time, I was still enjoying Ohranger. Last edited by Blade Fang; 12-22-2024 at 02:32 AM.. |
