As of yesterday, I am now a little more than halfway through Goggle V. I also have ten episodes remaining on my Gokaiger rewatch and would most likely finish that sometime next week.

Not only have I just finished Goggle V, I have finally started watching Changeman.

For me, Changeman to me is the Malcolm in the Middle of Super Sentai while Zyuranger is the Breaking Bad equivalent, only because of Shiro Izumi being nothing like Burai in Changeman as Yuuma/Change Pegasus.

Goggle V, as a whole, is just okay. It is somewhat better than Sun Vulcan although that’s probably not saying much. The show does indeed have plenty of good episodes though and if I must pick my favorite rangers for this series, it would have to be Kijima and Kuroda followed by Akama.

My current Sentai rankings (Showa era Edition) are as follows:
1. Liveman
2. Dynaman
3. Flashman
4. Bioman
5. Battle Fever J
6. Denziman
7. Maskman
8. Goggle V
9. Sun Vulcan

And like all of my rankings, Sentai or otherwise, this is subject to change especially once I eventually watch and finish Changeman, Goranger, and JAKQ in their entirety which, of course, would mean that I have completed the Showa era of the franchise. There is also the matter of where would these seasons be in my main Sentai ranking list overall.

The characters are pretty likable for sure, with good chemistry between the cast. I'd call Kuroda my favorite as well (just like Kiramager, my favorite is the emerald-themed one), but I could easily say something good about all of them.

I'll update my own Showa Sentai Ranking when I finish JAKQ later this week.
