A new round begins as a new warrior appears to turn everything back to an older era.

Kinjiro/Gozyu Eagle's gogo dance suit reminds me of Uppy (Kyoryu Gold's descendant in Kyoryuger: 100 Years After). The vest is different but same shirt and pants, I think? And I bet Miyauchi is probably giddy with all the Kaiketsu Zubat shoutouts in this episode.
![]() Also, Mr. Kamen Rider Zeronos, man, myth, legend Yuichi Nakamura as Gao Red next episode!!!! LFG ![]()

The main plot of the episode tells how No-One Showa returns the city to the past. Kinjiro and Sumino must defeat him. In the end, we get the correct conclusion that sometimes nostalgia prevents us from seeing the essence. Plus, it is great to see the improvement of relations between the different members of the team. Meanwhile, Hoeru and Ryugi decide to save Osai. Luckily for them, Bouquet finds them herself. Rikuo's role is small, but key: to arouse Bouquet's anger and thereby provoke her to summon Dark Daizyuzin. By the way, it is interesting that Bouquet opposes the idea of turning Osai into a puppet. This shows her in a positive light. And the episode ends with the appearance of five Tega Swords and their CGI fight with Dark Daizyuzin. That is, something that could not have been filmed in Showa, but which would have caused incredible delight.
Osai is saved and bids farewell to our heroes. And the next episode promises new eccentric Universe Warriors and even more madness. Cool. P.S. Also, mentioning Zubat is always welcome. Last edited by Mesnick; 04-28-2025 at 03:37 PM.. |

While even I must admit that Hibiki's second half was kind of lame, I still feel bad for Kiriya for getting scapegoated by the fans.

While Miyauchi probably loves all if not most of his notable toku works, Kaiketsu Zubat is considered his best work by himself and his hardcore fans. I like to call it when Miyauchi goes Chuck Norris.
![]() All joking aside, it's a fun watch as the best in the world swears revenge on the baddies for the death of his best friend. And looking back now, I can see why they included it in the show because Ken/Zubat always claims he's no.1 and stuff iirc.
