In the scene @ 00:52 Shouma says that he's concerned about Dente's getting weaker due to his old age. While Sachika remembers that Dente's weakness was due to getting his pulled out as the material for the Gochipod RG.

In the scene @ 01:57 Liselle is mocking Glotta for her not knowing that Jeebh's Gavv was modified with a Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv in episode 38 last week. She says Glotta is out of the loop because Glotta has no one to consult with or report to.

In the scene @ 03:55 Shouma and Sachika are visiting Dente. Lage 9 says @ 05:12 that he'd like to see several places that sell snacks with Dente, but Dente can't go out in public because he has no human disguise/Mimic Key. The scene of Dente eating at a restaurant in the preview section in episode 38 last week was actually just an imagination as a red herring, and Sachika says Dente can't go out because the existence of Granute was made public by Hanto in episode 36. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttttttttttt, Dente did actually go out in public place in episode 22 @ 03:16 when he was searching for the collapsed Shouma. Like I've said since my post in episode 22 thread here, this plot about Dente not using Mimic Key/human disguise is sooooooooooooooooooooooo weird in the weirdest of the weirdest of the weirdest sense. How the heck Dente was able to roam in public places in episode 22 @ 03:16 without being seen by any human at all? No sane human would've mistaken Dente for a human. How the heck Dente, Stomach corporation's #1 most genius scientist who created the Hito Press process, the Mimic Key system, the Stomach's Drivers, and Shouma's Henshin Belt Gavv hasn't even bothered to use a Mimic Key to disguise himself among humans? Where and what the heck's happened to his Mimic Key? How come a creator of the Mimic Key system doesn't have his own Mimic Key, even if just one unit? Is this how he's been living all this time? If he's been living in the human world without using Mimic Key/human disguise for a long time, then how the heck has he been able to get human snacks that he's craving so much? Heck, how did he get his hands on human snacks for his research about 2 decades ago in the first place if he didn't use Mimic Key/human disguise? Gosh, this plot of Dente not having Mimic Key/human disguise just makes no sense at all. The reasoning in this atrocious story is getting more and more and more faulty and bizarre by each episode. Thanks for the nonsensical, atrocious writing, Gavv's writers and producers! *facepalm

In the scene @ 06:20, it's shown that Jeebh/KR Bitter Gavv v3.0 is actually just fine after getting his ass kicked by Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Over mode in episode 38 last week. He's pissed off due to not being able to defeat Shouma, albeit already having his Gavv modified with a Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv. Nyelv says that it's because there's seemingly adaptational differences in each Granute who is implanted with a Henshin Belt Gavv/Bitter Gavv, and he only tells Jeebh that he needs to wait for some time. Jeebh is of course getting more impatient, but Liselle assures him that he needs to slowly build up his power as KR Bitter Gavv v3.0. Yea, it seems very likely that Liselle is treating Jeebh as another pawn. I'd be stoked if the one who eventually kicks her ass is Jeebh, haha. She also tells Nyelv that Bocca gave her the order to keep researching the gaseous copy of Lage 9's plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin that Lango Mango used in episodes 35-36. It seems like this subplot of using the same method of Hito Pressing huge numbers of humans at once would still go for 3 or 4 episodes.

In the scene @ 07:49, Sachika tells Lage 9 that the main feature of the pudding a la mode is the silverware dish. She says she needs to get the atmosphere right because they can't go out with Dente. So, they go to a kitchenware store to buy a suitable cup for the a la mode pudding.

In the scene @ 10:26, Shouma is shopping for the ingredients of the a la mode pudding. There he encounters the owner guy of the same candy/snack shop shown in episodes 30, 31, 34, & 37. He asks the owner guy whether his shop is closed today, and the owner guy confirms it because he's going to visit his parents' grave. He said they passed away early. As usual in this atrocious story, in a very very very convenient coincidence, they encounter Hanto @ 11:18. The owner guy introduces himself to Hanto as the owner of candy/snack cafe called Hidamari (sunshine). After that very very very plot-convenient encounter with the owner guy, Hanto continues his investigation of Shouma's mom remaining family members.

Noooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww, I can quite connect the dots here. The owner guy is likely connected to Shouma via his mom, and Hanto is the one who would investigate it. The owner guy could be the older or younger brother of Michiru (Shouma's mom), or at least some kind of close relative, which could make him Shouma's maternal uncle. This episode also focuses on Dente, which is Shouma's paternal uncle, so I can see the similarity here.

In the scene @ 12:46, Nyelv is visited by Glotta who is upset because he didn't tell her that he modified Jeebh's Gavv with a Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv. Nyelv is trying to deflect that he didn't modify Jeebh's Gavv into an aka/red Gabu, but a kuro/black one. He's mocking Glotta and says that no one told her anything because no one (including Jeebh who relies on Liselle) relies on her. In a fit of rage, she slams Nyelv's tablet to the ground, and as usual in this atrocious story, in a very very very convenient coincidence, it shows the article and photo that show that Dente is still alive. Nyelv tells Glotta that Dente is alive in the human world and has helped Shouma/aka Gabu. I laughed soooooooooooooooooooo hard at that scene due to how plot-convenient it is. Like I've always said, this atrocious story has got a gazillion instances of very very very convenient coincidence, and without it, the story would've pathetically crumbled and fallen apart.

In the scene @ 14:03, Sachika, Shouma, and Lage 9 are making the a la mode pudding. Sachika is then packing it to be delivered to Dente.

In the scene @ 15:22, Dente is in his cave and is ordering a Zakuzaku Chips RG to do a favor for him. What is that favor? Exactly 5 seconds later, Glotta arrives there. Glotta suspects that Dente was the one who helped Shouma/aka Gabu escape from their house, though Dente denies it. She's forcing Dente to help her because she's the only one left who can protect the Stomach family. Dente says that what Glotta really cares about is not the Stomach corporation, but the Stomach family. He says that since she was a kid, although she seems selfish, she's always loved her family. He says that Glotta is lonely, and because he won't work for Stomach corporation anymore, he instead asks her to join him in the human world and help Shouma, and he's even willing to mediate between her and Shouma. In yet another fit of rage, Glotta is very likely killing Dente.

This scene shows just how pathetically, laughably, indefensibly lazy, cheap, sloppy, heavy-handed, and atrocious the writing in this story is. Glotta and Lango Mango and other major villains have been sidelined for so many episodes, with very little told about their backstory. And similar to Lango Mango whose backstory was shown a bit in a flashback scene in the same episode 36 when he was defeated by Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Master mode, in this episode Glotta's backstory is only told by Dente. The writers got too wrapped up in making the plot more and more and more convoluted, and forgot that good writing is where the characters are what make the plot, not the other way around. No wonder the villains and protagonists in this story are just sooooooooooooooooooooo shallow and 1D because their backstory and subplot is shown and resolved very hastily in just the first half of the 2 episodes where they overpower the relevant protagonists (Shoum and Lage 9) and then are defeated/killed in the next episode. Heck, even Hanto's subplot with Kenji/Rago/wolf Granute was resolved in pretty much the same manner because Kenji/Rago/wolf Granute has never appeared in 36 episodes at all and only appeared in episodes 37-38 where his backstory was hastily elaborated and resolved. This is what happens when I focus too much in making the most super duper hyper mega ultra convoluted plot: I completely forget that the characters exist as actual persons with their own agency, not rigid, dumb, unthinking narrative tools that are merely used to connect the gazillion of plot points. What a shallow, paper-thin writing. *facepalm

In the scene @ 17:39, Sachika, Shouma, and Lage 9 are gleefully heading to Dente's cave to deliver the a la mode pudding. And, for the 3rd time in this episode, as usual in this atrocious story, in a very very very convenient coincidence, they see that Glotta has just finished killing Dente several moments earlier. Shouma and Sachika are going into hysterics, while Lage 9 notices that the wound on Dente's body is identical to the one on Komel's body, and concludes that Glotta was the one who executed Komel about a year ago. He chases her and confront her about the same distinctive wound made by large blade on Komel's and Dente's bodies. She says that she just doesn't remember how many useless, underperforming part-timers she has executed. Lage 9/KR Vram fights Glotta, and as expected, she's totally overpowering him. Just as she's about to finish him off, for the 4th time in this episode, as usual in this atrocious story, in a very very very convenient coincidence, Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Over mode shows up at the riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight moment to punch her away.

So yeah, like pretty much everyone expected, including me since my 2nd post in episode 19 thread here, the one who executed Komel was just Glotta. Sooooooooooo, like I've asked since my post in episode 21 thread here, if this kind of violent, abusive approach is indeed Glotta's #1 modus operandi to eliminate underperforming part-timers, then Lango Mango and Nyelv should've known about it. Then why the heck did Nyelv make a surprised expression in episode 21 @ 06:54 and @ 07:21? It just looked weird and made no sense at all. And also, why the heck in episode 21 @ 06:21 was it shown that Komel's cause of death was unknown? If Komel, Kenji/Rago/wolf Granute, and other underperforming part-timers are just executed by Glotta and Glotta alone, then their status should be shown as eliminated or purged, not unknown. The plot about the connection between Lage 9, Komel's death, and Glotta just makes no sense. It seems like the writers were trying to make the plot 100 times more convoluted by assigning another villain as Komel's executor, but they failed and or didn't have time, so they were forced to revert back to their initial plan with Glotta.

Like I elaborated in my post in episode 25 thread here, the kabutomushi Granute says that he heard a rumor from his friend that an idiotic part-timer got scared and ran away in the middle of a job. This implied that that part-timer was Komel. Buuuuuuuuuuutttttttttt, if Komel ran away in the middle of a job in the human world, then doesn't it mean that he could only run away in the human world? So, since only Stomach family members (including Shouma) and their agents are able to open the interworld portal, then how the heck was Komel able to arrive at Lage 9's house in the Granute world in episode 19 @ 17:13? Since Komel was a part-timer who defied Stomach's orders, then it must've been impossible for him to be able to and or be allowed to return to the Granute world. I hypothesized that the only explanation was that Komel was allowed to return to the Granute world by a Stomach insider who also had the ability to open the interworld portal, and that insider was not Bouche, Lango, Glotta, Nyelv, Shita/Jeebh, and their agents, which means that the insider was likely Dente or Zomb (if he was somehow still alive). But in this episode, it's shown that Dente is killed by Glotta, and the culprit is just Glotta herself, so why the heck did she allow Komel to return to the Granute world and execute Komel there in front of Lage 9's house in episode 19 @ 17:13? If Glotta was able to exeute Komel in the human world, then why the heck didn't she do it there, not in the Granute world right in front of Lage 9's house in episode 19 @ 17:13? The answer is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo crystal clear: Plot-convenience, in order to make Komel tell Lage 9 about the name of Dark Snacks (that allowed Lage 9's revenge subplot to begin in the first place).

Oh, and like I elaborated in my post in episode 38 thread here, if the scene in episode 38 @ 22:14 shows that Kenji/Rago/wolf Granute was immediately vaporized when he was executed by Glotta, then why the heck wasn't Komel vaporized as well when he was executed by her right in front of Lage 9's house in episode 19 @ 17:13? Heck, why isn't Dente vaporized as well? After all, if he's old and weak, just like Shouma and Sachika have said (as recently as this episode @ 00:52), then he should've been vaporized into thin air like what happened to Kenji/Rago/wolf Granute. As usual in this atrocious story, the answer is identical as above: Plot-convenience. Thanks for impressively atrocious story, Gavv's producers and writers! *facepalm while vomiting from the cringe-inducing stupidity of this story

The debut of KR Vram A la Mode Mode and the Puddinte RG. I mentioned above that in the scene @ 15:22, Dente is in his cave and is ordering a Zakuzaku Chips RG to do a favor for him. That favor is very likely has something to do with the creation of the Puddinte RG as shown in the preview section. Perhaps, Puddinte RG = Pudding RG made by Dente or in memory of Dente? Haha. Oh, and it's very likely produced by Shouma in the fight scene (not right after eating the said snack), just like the Frappeise RG. This seems like just another violation of the internal logic about the instant production of the RG's.

There goes Dente. And also, there goes my hypothesis about Dente being the mastermind villain of this story, haha. Next episode is gonna be Glotta's turn to get her ass kicked. Is she gonna die? Because she was the one who actually killed Shouma's mom (by brutally breaking her Hito Press at the beginning of episode 1), executed Komel in episode 19 @ 17:13 (and also Kenji/Rago/wolf Granute at the end of episode 38, and countless part-timers), kills Dente in this episode, I see a 99% chance that she's gonna be killed by Lage 9 in his debut as KR Vram A la Mode Mode. Yea, like I hypothesized in my post in episode 33 thread here, it takes exactly 2 episodes to eliminate each villain. There are still 5 undefeated villains (Nyelv, Liselle/Jeebh, Bocca, and Lango Mango), or 6 if the runaway Dark Shouma #5 (who only appeared once in episode 27 @ 00:21 and has disappeared from the story ever since) is accounted. If episodes 39-40 are reserved for eliminating Glotta, then:
- 41-42 are for Liselle (featuring the return of Jeebh, who could be getting his 2nd defeat here),
- 43-44 are for Nyelv (and might feature the return of Dark Shouma #5 and or Kenzou if I'm gonna make the ultimate, God-awful, Yuuya Takahashi-style asspull, haha),
- 41-42 and 43-44 could be switched, and it could be the case that Nyelv is defeated/killed before Jeebh/Liselle,
- 45-46 are for Bocca who gets very angry due to Liselle being killed in episodes 41-42/43-44, though 43-44 is more likely (featuring the return of Lango Mango as a pre-final villain or post-final villain, although I see the possibility that he might return in as early as episodes 41-42/43-44 to have his Gavv modified/upgraded by Nyelv), and
- 47-48 are for Lango Mango or Bocca.
The last 2 villains are very likely Lango Mango and Bocca, like shown in the newest poster. Though not shown in the poster, there's still a small chance that Lango Mango or Nyelv could have their Gavvs modified with a Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv or a even completely brand new Driver by Nyelv.

The episode starts with a sweet introduction about making sweets for Dente that he never gets to taste. But the second half takes a sharp twist, as Glotta, feeling alone and helpless, kills the old man. This also finally reveals her as Comel's killer and leads to a fight with Lakia. And while Glotta isn't as superior to Vram as Lango, she's still considerably stronger, and only Shouma's intervention saves the rider. Luckily, Dente left a posthumous message with a gift...
What I like about this episode is how well the differences between Lakia and Glotta are shown. They both have obvious flaws, but while Lakia admits hers, Glotta persistently rejects reality, responding to kindness with aggression. Helplessness has led her to this despair, because her family is collapsing before her eyes and she can do nothing about it. And in order not to repeat her fate, Lakia, who lost his brother and unwittingly gave his enemies a powerful weapon, it is important to defeat Glotta himself and feel that he is still able to change something for the better.
Of other interesting things: Nyelv shows his cruel nature, Hanto continues to search for the Shouma family and the owner of the candy store appears again.However, these lines are more mentioned than developed.

Glotta's spotlight.

As usual, Lizel is condescending towards Glotta, highlighting her perceived uselessness and the fact that no one consults or informs her. Nyelv, too, has taken on a similarly condescending attitude, when Glotta confronts him about Jeebh's Gavv, suggesting that Glotta is unnecessary since Lizel can handle Jeebh herself. Guess this is a clearer signal of Nyelv's betrayal of Stomachs, not even telling Glotta that it's what Jeebh truly wants.

So Dente's love for human snacks is still evident. Initially, this made me suspicious of Dente, as it seemed he only agreed to assist Shoma for the snacks. Now, he also only wants to accelerate his progress in exchange for more snacks. Rakia appears to be frustrated with Dente, possibly due to his slow progress or because he is the creator of Dark Treats, but turns out he doesn't realize about Dente being sick and weak.

Despite Glotta’s love for her family, as Dente confirms, it doesn’t negate her villainous tendencies. Much like Nyelv, Glotta pressures Dente to contribute to Stomach Inc. Dente reveals more about Glotta’s character, noting her loneliness stemming from her family's disintegration. He reminds her that Shoma is still around and encourages her to reconcile with him. However, Glotta's insecurities about being pitied or treated as weak push her to want to appear strong, ultimately leading her to kill Dente.

Glotta's the one expected to get along with Shoma here, where the fandom only thinks about the twins for that. Even though Dente dies for real here, he had mentioned his impending death, expressing a desire to enjoy more human snacks before his time runs out. Apart from the Stomach's racism towards humans, Glotta might also harbor a vendetta against Shoma for putting Jeebh in such despair, which'd be similar to Jeebh blaming Shoma for all his problems.

Dente's death prompts Rakia to deduce that Glotta murdered Comel. Glotta was also the one who delivered Vram his first L, and without Shoma (and also upgrades), Vram experiences another L even quicker—though Over Gavv comes to his aid when Glotta approaches his human form. I am curious about the challenges Rakia will face in the next episode, as his path of revenge is clear, putting him up against someone who refuses redemption, as offered by Dente.

If I had a nickel for every time a Reiwa rider series with a title starting in G and something kids love as the motif featured an aggressive goth woman villain who often fought without transforming and got increasingly unhinged as her family fell apart around her and blamed the riders for her siblings splitting up, I'd have two nickels. It's not a lot, but it's interesting that it happened twice (in a row!)

Glotta is losing it due to her family falling apart. However, in a fair bid of irony, it's because she refused to accept her entire family.
If Shouma hadn't been ostracized as a child, and then them attempting to take his life as an adult, she'd still have the big, dysfunctional family that she so loves.

Despite distancing himself from Stomach Inc long ago, Dente still remembers his (Great) nieces and nephews quite well, and is able to get a perfect read on her. Unfortunately, pride refuses to let her acknowledge it and she chooses to kill him rather than make amends and live with a less murderous family.

It's a damn shame to lose Dente. Really loved the guy.

We're really running low on episodes, now, though, between 9 to 11 episodes remaining. Glotta is going to be the prime focus for next episode, but that still leaves Jeep, Lizel, the president, and Nyelv to all be resolved in 10 episodes or less.

While I'm in the camp that Nyelv is going to be the final villain, unless some backstabbing or side switching shenanigans occur, resolution time is gonna be stretched thin.

Agreed. Michiru, Comel, Kenji and Dente must all be avenged. The fact that Glotta doesn't even remember all her victims makes her even more despicable.

Perhaps Glotta feels trapped by the Granute society that, according to Lango, values power above all else. Loneliness = Vulnerability = Weakness. Deep down, Glotta only wants familial love, probably even with Shouma, but the pressure to conform to that system and abandonment trauma from Bouche's neglect prevents her from admitting any of it to herself or others. She's kind of like Igarashi Sakura, but with better execution.
