I personally think Gavv is like, Kangaroo adjacent. Idk, there's something about the way Gavv feels that just screams Kangaroo to me.

Also the gochizo in his belt vaguely evoke a joey in a kangaroo's pouch (kinda funny how only female kangaroos have that but Zero-One and Revice both got one in their kangaroo forms).
Personally I see Gavv more as a rabbit, but the kangaroo theory makes as much sense as the wolf one

I think the wolf idea would've made a lot more sense if the Shouma=Granute Lago theory was true, but it seems like 5 year-old Hanto hallucinated that Red Gavv in his drawing.
Based on Gavv's bounciness and transparent regenerative armor, perhaps we should consider the possibility of some kind of salamander.

Honestly I rather focus on Gavv being candy/snack-themed than try to figure out what animal he vaguely resembles, after five straight seasons of having animals be a part of the motif in some way.

I think Gavv has wolfish head silhouette and claws to serve as a red herring to make people believe that he was the Granute that killed Hanto's mother. Outside of that, he really doesn't have an animal motif.

If Gavv was adapted in the US/Canada, would you all go the direction of The Man in the Iron Mask or The Count of Monte Cristo?

That depends. If I were to adapt Gavv, I'd have Shoma be more open to blaming the Stomach family for what's wrong in his life, practically rubbing it in their faces that it's their fault(s) for not being better people whenever he should come to blows with them. Which direction works better for that?
