After a relaxed recap, it's time to rush forward at full speed again. Kuon erases Bouquet's memory and I have to praise how this scene was shot with an emphasis on the environment and insects. The competition for collecting money itself develops according to a typical pattern for the Gozyugers, with a reminder of what the money is needed for, but at the same time, attention is focused on the meaning Mashiro puts into it. As for me, this is the right choice, because GozyuPolar made a bright debut, but quickly faded into the background. So extra attention obviously won't hurt him.
Meanwhile, Kuon invites the main team to his company. Although in fact, it’s not him, but his ambitious deputy, aka Universe Battle Japan. After showing the Gozyugers the local Humagears, he defeats and captures them using an AI power-up. By the way, remembering Stacaesar, it seems that someone in Toei really thinks that Battle Fever's costumes look evil.
The two plots come together when, during the battle between King Candelor and Goode Burne, the Universe Battle Fever kidnaps the Bouquet. It should be noted that a battle between two opposing elements in the guise of giant robots would be very interesting to see. But it should be taken into account that Goode Burne is jealous of Mashiro for Bouquet, and therefore is not in the mood to help him...
Overall, this was a great episode, made even more exciting by the fact that it was essentially just the build-up. Considering the finale of Gavv, next Sunday promises to be great!
