The Assist Weapons are like the SG AOE Dinobots -- inverted, in that they actually transform.

My dumb joke was based on the idea that "SG" Cliffjumper was no different than just like, the "standard" one. Is that not the case?

Honestly, the only TF reference I noticed in the designs was Namiko having a Cyber Key/Force Chip from the Cybertron/Galaxy Force toyline as a hair decoration. In retrospect, Hass’s face mask should have screamed at me, but she didn’t make any statements on her superiority compared to others’ inferiority.

The initial premise for the Shattered Glass stories followed a normal Cliffjumper from a normal universe who winds up in that weird alternate reality, but part of the idea is that there was an actual Shattered Glass Cliffjumper with some other, probably lamer color scheme, who bit the dust before the story even begins. So there *is* an SG Cliffjumper, but he's also not the most prominent Cliffjumper in the SG continuity, which hopefully doesn't sound too confusing!
