So, we've uncovered Kuon's secret. It turns out he voluntarily accepted the curse of the June Tag, which is gradually turning him into a part of her, for the sake of power. He also hates those who try to save him, which is why he mocks his brother so much.I even found it strange that in the opening scene, Kuon didn't fire Hoeru again, but perhaps "yeto belo be" is too petty for him. Still, the question of whether Kuon can be turned back into Hisamitsu remains open.
Also, after defeating Garudo in the beginning, Koyo-san surprised with such an easy defeat in the finale. It's clear he's bound to lose and lose the ring, but he can beat you even more cunningly. But in any case, he's definitely the gold medalist.
Also, Ribbon isn't nearly as sweet as she seems and dreams of power over Bridan. It's also a shame that this didn't happen at the same time as Zeztz's prison episodes. Overall, a very decent, gripping, and entertaining episode. Sumino's absence was practically unnoticeable this time around; I only really remembered her when I saw Gozyu Unicorn. And next week, there's a recap with a continuation of the Gozyuger documentary thread. We'll see how it goes.
