I also have a birthday haul!
![]() Event Exclusive SHF Beast Gohan: People mocked it from the promo pics, but I promise you all that the paint job is way better in hand. Love the way this thing looks. ![]() Air Studios Base Gohan Heads: Very well done. Love the hair sculpt especially. Will probably display my Teen Gohan this way now. ![]() TK Custom Z Broly Accessory Pack: The new heads are way better than the original, and having hands that actually allow him to use his energy effects is a major plus. ![]() Revoltech Mazinger Z: I love this thing. Revoltech's' ideology about articulation just works so well with mecha and I'm now very excited for their Great Mazinger figure. ![]() Kikaider Reboot: I felt this movie was just okay, but it's another step towards having all of the Kikaider media on disc. ![]() Zero-One Acrylic Stand and Clear Progrise Key: I might've maybe decided that Zero-One is my favorite Reiwa Rider show. ![]() Fahrul Andrew Spider-Man Head: While it's not a major improvement over the MAFEX head, I still like it enough to add it to the display. ![]() 5-inch DC x Sonic Figures Wave 2: I was originally, going to pass on Shadow, but the single release lacks the light up gimmick, which I prefer. These figures continue to impress me, and I hope the main characters from the games get similar figures someday. ![]() Bro Toys Ryu Hayabusa: I was very impressed with how this came out, and I actually prefer it compared to the Revoltech figure. Although they mostly make clothed figures, I might check out other stuff BroToys makes in the future. ![]() Sigma Studios God Slayer(Kratos): Fantastic figure of the God of War himself. I feel the face sculpts could be slightly better, but everything comes together very well.

Some stuff from the past few months:
SHODO EXCEED 1: I was really intrigued with the updates this EXCEED wave would bring to the figures. The OOO pair look fantastic, or should I say SUBARASHI ! ![]() MAFEX Magneto (Comic Ver.): I missed it on the first run, but Medicom has been reissuing countless figures recently. Majestic looking figure, highly recommend for any X-Men / Marvel fan. This is the definitive Magneto ![]() SH Figuarts Kamen Rider ZEZTZ: I run out of things to say every year because all the Rider figures come out really good. Zeztz is no exception. I was worried about the neck articulation because of the redesigned joint, but I can do the poses I want. Kudos to Tamashii for including the weapon ![]() SMP TimeRobo & TimeShadow: I usually only go for SMP of mechas I don't own, but TimeRobo is one of my favorites sentai toys so I could not pass it up. It was also the robot I most wanted to see get the SMP treatment, and by many accounts Bandai delivered ![]() POP! Elements Power Up: Funko's new line of effect pieces are surprisingly good. Not sure how well they'll scale with 12 inch, but they look good with smaller figs

Other things that arrived recently
My preferred proxy site is FromJapan. Through Mercari & Rakuten, I've been able to find more niche or older releases that the bigger import sites don't always carry. Stuff like Gashapon and candy toy figurines. ![]() And sometimes there's incredible listings on Mercari, like a selling offering just the bonus parts from the SHF Kiva bike set: ![]() One of my other favorite places to browse is amiami preowned. I would say half of my early collection came from here. Through some incredible luck, I found this listing that looked too good to be true ![]() Shinkocchou Seihou - Rider 1 Sakurajima Ver. - Having missed out on the original release & reissue, one night I found a C-graded copy on amiami for a ridiculous discount. The reported issue was "loose upper torso", but in-hand the figure still moved great, was in excellent condition, and all the accessories were bundled in (even the spare antenna). I threw in another cheaper figure to eat up the shipping cost, so in the end it averaged out to an incredible value Last edited by MrWilliamGraham; 03-15-2026 at 01:55 PM.. |

For the fifth time, I now have both halves of an SHT lineup’s main shows for a year (previous years were September 2018-February 2019, September 2020-March 2021, March 2021-September 2021 and March 2024-September 2024).

I got the Zein Card set a few days ago, and now I’ve got the Driver to use it with.

Alot of pre-orders came in this month.
![]() Toyrise Ryukendo: It's essentially a glorified basic figure, but hey, Ryukendo ended up being a show that I grew fond of, and I'm happy to have this on the shelf. The new Armored form looks cool too. ![]() Mezco Samurai Jack: This figure is a real mixed bag. Aesthetically it looks nice and I love the accessory loadout, but his articulation is way limited for no good reason. It's mainly the ankles, for which there's really no excuse for them being so limited. I'd say get this figure on discount if you can. Definitely don't pay more than the original price for it. ![]() Figma 2B and A2: Overall great figures. Especially 2B who, while not perfect, is probably the best overall 2B figure we've gotten to date. ![]() SHF The Next KR-2 w/ Bike: Slightly improved from the KR-1 SRC, mainly due to the improved joint quality in the lower legs. Now we just need V3. ![]() Figma Other M & Prime 3 Samus Reissues: While these figures aren't nearly as awesome as Figma's' Dread Samus figure, they still hold up surprisingly well despite being so old. ![]() Jada Helmetless Megaman: It's a glorified accessory pack for the original Megaman, sure, but it's still a fun, well put together toy in its own right. ![]() Zone of the Enders Anime Collection: An underrated gem of a mecha anime, and a tie-in to a great video game series at that. It's not often you see a middle-aged father as a protagonist, and the story itself is great besides. ![]() Figma MGS2 Solid Snake V2: So here's the thing. Is this figure updated from the original? Yes, but barely. As a result, rather than feeling like something brand new, it moreso just feels like one of the nicer figures from about a decade ago. So if you're fine with that, then yeah, pick him up. If not, wait for Revoltech I guess. ![]() Mezco Animated Series Batman & Joker: Reviews for both of these figures have been mostly negative, and having them in hand, yeah, I can see why. Both are riddled with problems, and given we now live in a world where 3rd party companies have proven that clothed action figures can be done so much better, Mezco doesn't have much of an excuse. But, are they the best figures of these versions of the characters we have so far? Yes, unfortunately. ![]() Nendoroid Alastor: I unfortunately doubt we'll ever see proper action figures for Hazbin Hotel, so this is the next best thing. I hope this line continues with more than just Alastor. Would especially loves to see Angel Dust.
