Hey guys, I figured this could go here, since they do, or did atleast, have multiple Toku liscences, including Kamen Rider, Sentai, Ultraman, and Power Rangers. I had some of the Dino Thunder sets back when those were out, and recently got some of the Samurai Minifigure packs, and thought they were pretty cool. What are your thoughts on them?

I keep contemplating the samurai sets, but the minifigs are just awful compared to mega bloks's halo sets. If they used the more articulated body I'd buy a ton of the sets and figures.

Really love the halo stuff and I'm wishing they'd get some other toku licenses back, a little posable fourze would be great. |

The Halo & Marvel MegaBlok bodies seem too muscular for the suit design IMO.

I picked up the Lion Zord the other day, it's OKAY, but it's not great. The minifig is neat. It's cool to have a teeny Red Ranger/Shinken Red But the Zord is a brick made of bricks. NO articulation. The only things that move is the cockpit section on the back. But it does look nice on a shelf or desk, so I'll give it that. But, I remember Lego sets having pictures of Alternate Builds in the instructions. Something different made from the same bricks, showing that you can build anything you want. Well, this has an alternate build too. But it is so dedicated to it. You have specific pieces for that build, even specific stickers! Only problem is... no instructions on how to build it. It says "Instructions online" on the back, so I assume they're there, though I really don't see a need for building it since it's not anything special. (It looks like a flying thing with a lion head on the front) Also, the instructions are... wrong. I had to substitute other bricks for the ones suggested in the instructions, which kind of sucks. I still really want the Megazord though.

I WANT to, but I'd figure it'd still be on the shelf when I have extra money to use on it. :P

I saw these for the first time last night at Target. Very amusing. Seriously considering picking up the Ape Folding Zord set since I think Emily is a pretty cool Yellow Ranger.

I have only seen the three Folding Zord sets and the Megazord. If I could find the Gold Ranger Hero set (the small $4.99 ones) I would buy that one just to give the line a try.
