Okay, I broke my promise and I'm sorry.

Here's my entry nearly a full day later:

It was tough deciding between a Kamen Rider character and a Super Sentai character. On the one hand, I like Super Sentai better overall as a series, but on the other hand, Kamen Rider simply develops their characters better because they need only focus on a few Riders compared to Super Sentai's many Rangers. Super Sentai's characters rely on their relationship to each other to define them so it's not so easy to single out any particular Ranger. Plus, Super Sentai has nicer merchandise, so there's the greed factor there.

Well, since I've already done Kamen Rider in the other giveaway, I'll choose a favorite character from Super Sentai. My choice is: Wolzard Fire from Magiranger.

HUGE SPOILERS for those who have not watched Magiranger.

I always love father figures in fiction and Isamu Ozu/Wolzard Fire is probably the best example of one. He embodies all there is to love about father heroes. He is courageous, self-sacrificing, loving, honorable and kind. He is even humble when faced with his failures, as seen when he regains his senses after being Wolzard for so long.

His virtues are so great that they remain in him even after conversion to the evil Wolzard. Wolzard remains courageous and honorable, proving that you simply can't put a good man down completely, even with a healthy dose of brainwashing.

Finally, his design is just freaking cool. He looks great enough as Wolzard with his beautiful horse and intricate armor. Give him the brilliant red, gold and black color scheme and you have the coolest looking Ranger ever.

Thus Wolzard Fire fits well as one of my favorite characters, being a paragon of virtue and a awesome-looking character.

Sorry I forgot to mention that my choice (Beet J Stag) is a Super Sentai character.

well we are not quite done yet on the exact prizes, but there will be a grand prize for kr and one for sentai,

I've considered this for some time. I considered all of the Gokaigers, but Gokaigers works better as a whole than a single character and I can't pick just one. I considered Black Condor, but I don't feel he was deployed that much. I considered Dekamaster, but he lacked the starring role of Shadow Ranger. I considered Enter, but the 2nd half of Gobusters made me not care anymore.

Finally realized that I can't deny it, my favorite Sentai character as of this writing is Bandora the Witch. At first I thought it was just my inter PR fanboy tricking me, but I'm not that big of a Rita fan. I like Rita, but I wouldn't rate her that high without Zedd. So yeah, I like Bandora. I enjoyed every scene with her in it. While I can say that about other villains, Bandora has reasons behind why she's a witch and why she hates kids and gets a surprising amount of deployment at the end of the show (Which I will not spoil here). It comes down to this: Bandora has real motivation, something many Sentai characters (both heroes and villains) lack.

Also, the musical numbers help.

This is such an easy one for me: Shotaro from Kamen Rider W.

That show would not work as well without him. He never gives up and will do anything for his friends. He truly is the heart of that show.

Also, he's my spirit animal.
