Thanks Cook. I am thinking it might work if I get Ultraman or Ultraseven or whomever in his crouched, "fighting stance" pose. That would make him visually shorter and it would break up the lines a bit. Assuming I can find one to drop the money on!

For what it's worth, the Ultra Acts are pretty close in size to their vinyl counterparts (sorry for the crap pics, and yes it's not really the same version of Baltan):
