For anyone who is interested, I got my CJ last week and nothing looks fragile or could break on him other than the cape. So far so good I gess.

I just got Kouga in today, he's a lot smaller than I was expecting, the limbs are more like the female rangers, feels more fragile. the waist is tiny, but I guess that's mainly the way the aesthetics of the show that they were working from. The hips are a bit loose on mine, will have to tighten them up a bit for deeper stances. Doesn't look right next to the Myth cloth figures.

So guys...has the preorder for Axe Form gone up yet? I see Phoenix and Walz Gill on Yokatta, but not Axe Form.

Only other complaint I can find with the figure are his leg joints. I'm glad he isn't a floppy mess, but I think mine are a tad too tight, and they are a bit awkward compared to my other Figuart's (save for Black RX because he uses a completely different style), which may be due to the shape of his leg armor I guess, up around where it meets the area where the joint is. It's just kinda hard to get it back into its neutral area if I move it around a bit, feels like it could break.

He's probably use to the antennas feeling like they are going to break off at the moment they drop. All of the riders are like that, especially Nigo, Ichigo, Skyrider, and Shadow Moon. Hell, my Nigo's right antenna was bent when I first opened him so I thought it was going to break when I bent it back in place. In fact, I still think it is going to break the moment he falls down.
BTW, does CJ have the scarf put on him the same way AkibaRed does? If so, I hate that because the scarf falls off all of the time. |

CycloneJoker came this morning and I'm liking him a lot. There's a few issues with him, though, and some things that I thought would be issues but aren't. His hands are absolutley terrifying to swap to the point where I widened all the holes with a hobby knife to be safe. The driver is really detailed but I missed the green for the Cyclone memory so I painted it and painted in the little "C" and "J" in the windows. The posability is above average though the joints are annoying. Every joint is tight except for his inner shoulders/torso arm joints. They're so loose it makes posing a task. Hopefully they don't get any looser and the rest of the body limbers up so they're not so contrasted. On the subject of quality control he has a single paint drop on his neck and weird scuff marks on his left shoulder. Also there's mould flash on his crest.
I was also pleased to see the eyes are not as tiny in person as they seem in pics, though they might be a smidge undersized. Not a problem, though. Sadly what is a problem is the forehead crest. It's not the size, although it might be a bit big that can be overlooked in head-on views. What can't be overlooked is how it sits on his heaad. Double's head crest angles back on the actual suit. Here, though, it's straight up. When viewed from the side it's completely vertical, and that bugs me to no end. Is there any way to get it off so I could try reshaping the contact point and gluing it back on an angle like it should be? A great figure but I think it'll stay my only Figuart. There's nothing here that has me wanting to jump down the rabbit hole. |

As much as I love both the show and the Figuarts, there are way better SHFs than the Double line. Like Ryuki, they're unbelievably good.
I think the inner shoulder joint I think might be loos-ish on all of my Double figures, I agree it is annoying, because it tends to drop down and look odd, but I love the show enough I don't care. But if there are other shows you like, you should give their figures a chance. Ryuki and Den-O both blow Double out of the water. |

Yes, Red Hawk is really good, not at all familiar with the show it's from, but I had to get it after I saw Vangelus and TJOmega's reviews of it.
The Gokaigers are also good, and I love the Shinkengers. I know everyone else complains about their shoulders, and they are kinda limited, I rarely notice it. |
