So folks I have looked at MG Figurise and I like their size. HOWEVER, are they fairly durable? I want something that can stand up to posing and playing. I don't bash my figures together but I love posing them. I hate when joints get loose. The builds look fairly easy enough. However, are these worth it?

I got my son the Goku Figurise and it's still intact, so take that however you will...

How old is your son and how roughly did he handle it?

They're built pretty soildly. But what you have to remember is that they are model kits, things will come off if not careful. Still, it's not like you have to treat them as though they're ticking time bombs or anything.

He's 7 now, and we had it for a least a year and a half now if not longer, while he is rough with his toys, he has not broken the Goku or the Figuarts Shinken Red and Gold.

Yeah, I'd say they're pretty durable for model kits.

After seeing the OOOs wonderful movie, I'm suddenly in the mood to pick up the MG Figure Rise OOOs, how is that model? Looking at the photos, it does look like I'll have to do a bit of paint work.

They're great models and good posing. They're Master Grade kits so they're known for being great. Those MG and HG kits are ment as models and full on action figures. They won't break from playing with them. A part may come off messing with them, but it can easily be put back in.
