Right after A Muppet's Christmas Carol my favorite holiday movie has to be the 1995 classic Jingle All the Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

For those unfamiliar with the plot, Arnie plays a forgetful dad that waited until Christmas Eve to pick up the hottest toy of the year, a Turbo Man action figure. Turbo Man is the titular hero from his own TV show that you know is totally adapted from a Japanese Toku series.

Tiger Electronics released a figure that Christmas to tie in with the movie release. I picked this one up at a flea market and it was super beat up. A coat of primer, Krylon Red, Krylon 18K gold, and then some Gundam markering later, and this guy is looking better than ever.

I'm saying in theory, not specifically. In the "Jingle All the Way" universe it's an American Live-Action show in the vein of Power Rangers. Odds are in their world, it was adapted from a Japanese series.

That comment was all speculation and nothing serious.

That looks great! I've always wanted to find a Turbo Man but I've never seen one in person.
