Kamen Rider GIRLS Become Shocker GIRLS

The next Kamen Rider Girls single has been announced, and to coincide with Toei’s on going Shocker Recruitment Event the Kamen Rider Girls will be hanging up their Rider-inspired outfits and instead will be donning Shocker Foot solider themed outfits!

Kamen Rider Girls SSS ~Shock Shocker Shockest~ will be released in July. A CD+DVD combo set and a stand alone CD version will be made available. The single will cost 1260 yen while the CD+DVD Combo Set will retail for 1890 yen.

Well, the song isn't bad but I think my big issue with Kamen rider girls is how alike and generic all of their songs sounds.

Saite and Go Get'em are still my favrioute songs from them though.

Is Shocker supposed to be cool or something?

I know they're the original KR villains, but they're utterly ridiculous.

Why all the Shocker hype this summer? Has there been any explanation for this? Three fairly significant events: Shocker "recruitment" campaign; this new Shocker-themed single; the Shocker Combatmen general release SHF in July.

Are they just reminding Japan about Shocker for something to do with the Kamen Rider show?

Well, Shocker's also the villain force in the most recent Superhero Taisen movie, albeit as Space Shocker.

I have a soft spot for them myself in that it's the sort of thing where the minion designs shouldn't work but the combination of the outfits, Nazi ties, and "eeeeeeee"s does.
