Basically I'm just asking for a bit of help here. Inspired by the story of UncleAnon's adaptation of Over-Times Kyoruger scripts into Power Rangers Dino Bravers for his nephew, I'm trying my hand at it myself.

I'm going to try and adapt their scripts into something the young people in my life who constantly ask about sentai into something they might be able to grasp onto. We've tried in the past watching just subbed shows but they've always been put off by the Japanese names but when they watched the dino bravers stuff they got really into it. I'm hoping to keep them interested especially for when babysitting duties come around. if this works I'm going to attempt some older series they may enjoy as well.

If they work out well enough I may release them online as well, maybe help others who have encountered similar problems in getting young ones interested.

I've started working on the script for episode 1 and once I put all the lines in order for easier editing I got to work. The hardest part has been coming up with names for the different elements in the show. I'm keeping things like Rainbow line and Shadow Line, the names of the characters but obviously the show name, team designations and mechs are being changed where

Ressha Sentai ToQGer - Power Rangers Rainbow Express
ToQ #1 - Express #1
ToQ-Oh - Rainbow Express Megazord
ToQ Change - Express Change

so what do people think, suggestions for better names and what the henshin call should be would be appreciated.

I think the Norikae Change should be called Train Exchange! Cause it sounds good. All the stuff you have so far I think is pretty great.

for the Zords they are just named like Red Ressha or Red Express in OT subs. I personally feel they should have more individual names. Since the first 5 are based on three differet types, so I think trying to put them in some way would help. differentiate between red train, blue train green train etc

for the first episode when ticket and the conductor transfer everyone back to their own colours I used the line "Now Transferring to original Lines), and named the Bazooka the Rail-Way Bazooka. opinions?

I was thinking of Green Rail or Green Locomotive. Lol that second sounds bad.

I had doubts to about how they would, or could, adapt this for an American audience. But those doubts were gone when I saw the show. It wouldn't be that hard a thing to do. In fact, if done right it could be one of the most popular seasons.

I remember reading about those Kyoryu subs but never checked them out. Great idea doing the same for ToQger!

What about Green Loco for the Green Ressha? I like Locomotive like KyoryuNerd suggested but its a bit of a mouthful.

green loco it is, I've just started on episode 2 about an hour ago and just finished adjusting the lines in the script which is easily the hardest part of this process.

one thing i'm having trouble with is the actual name. They refer to themselves as ToQger quite a bit, and at times I'm being quite liberal whether I put it in as Rainbow Express, Power Rangers or just Rangers. Do people think that this is a problem. or should I try and come up with a name that works better ala Dino Bravers?

Also is any here interested in getting a copy of the script and watching it to see how it plays?
