Your First Experience Watching Power Rangers

Mine was Day of the Dumpster. I remember watching it thinking "This is the greatest and stupidest thing I have ever seen in my life.." And being a fanboy ever since. I didn't even know what Super Sentai, Zyuranger, or any of it was at the time. I had no idea what show they had taken the footage from. I just know I was loving it. And that was all that mattered.

Ah yes! I remember when I was little one when MMPR first came on. Oh how 1993 was long ago.

I was a wee lad in 4th grade in 1993 when Day of the Dumpster aired. I was ready for it based on the Commercials they had to advertise when it started. I grew up on Showa Godzilla movies and had already had a love for superheroes. This was just 2 of my loves meshed together. I stopped watching on a weekly basis around 9th grade when Lost Galaxy started. I would keep tabs on the new seasons and watch an episode here and there of everything. Came back full time for Dino Thunder. Dropped off and kept tabs like i did before. Then i discovered Sentai / Gokaiger and now i am a hardcore PR / Sentai Supernerd.

I'd say probably Lost Galaxy but I can't remember what exact episode. It was probably one of the first ones though.

I watched the first episode when it originally aired. I didn't really know anything about it, beyond the horribly stupid title, but I was a Fox Saturday Morning loyalist at the time so I just left the tv on when it started up. I honestly don't think I liked it at first - maybe in a "so bad it's good way," but I don't think I thought the show was actually good in any way until Tommy came along. Once the Green Ranger was there, though, I was hooked.

One of my earliest members period is watching the Dino Megazord combine with my mom.
