Memories are time. But for those of whom memories do not exist.... Yuuto should never be Zeronos again, but his future self will make sure he is! Ryutaro will become stronger, so he'll have to fight alone (sort of). Liner Form is here! With a little help form the Imagin. So Let's Watch Den-O 34-36!

I have a question- on Krdl, it has an episode 26.5. What is this, and do I need to watch it after 26, or is it just the same?

I love this episode. Crazy piano guy's arc ends in tragedy, but not a hopeless one. I don't know where the Denliner takes him, but I really love the idea of forgotten people slipping out of time and riding trains like the Denliner until someone remembers them. There was a lot of discussion about how the time resets worked back when this series of LWW started; if you were still wonder, this episode gave you the basic answer. Good to see Rod Form again, too. It's probably the second most underused Den-O form and Ura-Ryoutarou is probably the most fun of the four to see moving around outside of combat. |

I really wasn't expecting Liner Form this soon after Climax.

Yeah, it comes in pretty fast. And Climax form really doesn't show up much once Liner arrives. Honestly, I'm not sure it's even used again during the series.
And speaking of things that show up more than Climax form: Coffee-tachi 35 The Mole Imagin! This guy shows up so much during the Den-O and Decade movies that he practically becomes the Heisei equivalent of Shocker mooks. Thankfully, he loses the awful, barely legible color font that TVN is using for him here. The stuff with Kintaros and Ryoutarou in this episode is one of those moments I'd show to anyone who complains that Ryoutarou is just a wuss. He may not be strong or skilled in fighting, but he has more willpower than many of his fellow Riders. He's still pushing onwards at moments when Wataru would have long since gone off for a cry in the tub. We're starting to see Ryoutarou have trouble summoning the Imagin in the past. I'd be more cryptic about where that's going, but we've already mentioned Liner Form. That also means Kai will be showing up soon. That's not a good thing for many, many reasons. |

So, I fooled myself into watching 26.5 (Also, hooray for being massively behind!). Shin-chan is weird and not my think. That is all that episode taught me.
Episode 27: Holy frick a Part 1 attack exists!?! Also, the movie cutaways make no sense yet. I can (just about) align them all, and that's with some knowledge of the future episodes in my head, but they are really confusing. The damned movie had better be gone. |

Liner Form: still an ass-pull, but not as blatant of an ass-pull as Climax Form. It's been so long since I've seen this suit, I forgot how good it looks. I'm not a big fan of the colored fins behind the visor, but I do love the use of all the red. And the big mask sword is... not as dumb as the Fourze Cosmic States rocket sword? I guess. Good stuff with the Imagin in this one; even Naomi and Owner got some good bits. I'd love to see what this episode was like with real Hana, though. Next week: the debut of the worst main villain in Rider history. |
